Respite care

Respite care refers to a short-term break or relief for primary caregivers who are taking care of individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other special needs. It provides temporary relief to caregivers by allowing them to take time off from their caregiving responsibilities and have some time for themselves.
the duration of respite care can range from a few hours to several days, depending on the needs of the caregiver and the individual receiving care.

The primary goal of respite care is to give caregivers an opportunity to recharge, reduce stress, and attend to their own physical and emotional well-being. It can help prevent caregiver burnout, improve the overall quality of care provided, and enhance the relationship between the caregiver and the individual receiving care.

Live in care

Live-in care refers to a type of home care service where a caregiver resides in the home of the person needing assistance. It allows individuals to receive personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
In a live-in care arrangement, the caregiver typically lives with the client full-time, providing around-the-clock care and support. The caregiver’s responsibilities can vary depending on the individual’s needs but often include assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care.

Live-in care can be a suitable option for various situations, such as elderly individuals who require assistance with mobility, personal care, or medication management, individuals with disabilities who need help with daily tasks, or individuals recovering from surgery or illness who require temporary support.

Companionship

Companionship care is a type of home care service designed for individuals who may be at risk of loneliness or who have been experiencing loneliness for some time. A caregiver will visit the person’s home and spend time with them, providing company and emotional support.

Overnight care

Overnight care is when a carer stays overnight to assist with any care needs you may have. With overnight care, a private carer will stay with you throughout the night to provide personal care and companionship at the times you most need them. Whatever your personal needs, your carer will be able to support and assist you so that you’re able to maintain your independence and confidence at all hours.
